Josh Sutton

Josh is the Chief Executive of Agorai, a global platform that provides an inventory of turnkey software solutions, technology and data needed for any company to join the AI economy. He is a frequent speaker on how AI can be leveraged to transform business models and is regularly quoted in leading publications such as Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Inc., Ad Age, AdWeek, CNBC, Venture Beat and Huffington Post.

Josh previously served as the former Global Head of the Data and AI Practice for Publicis.Sapient. In this role, he was responsible for strategy and partnerships related to artificial intelligence across all business lines. After his undergraduate education at MIT, he joined Sapient where he launched the capital markets consulting business which grew to become a multi-hundred million dollar business unit. Josh was a member of the leadership team responsible for growing the valuation of the overall organization from $50M when he joined to $3.7B upon its sale to Publicis in 2015.

In addition to his corporate role, Josh also serves on the board of directors for NPower, a non-profit focused on providing veterans and disadvantaged individuals with the access and opportunity to build technology skills and achieve their potential.


Sean Rice

Sean has nearly 20 years of experience building and managing structured product and derivatives trading businesses. Prior to joining Agorai, Sean worked at Affinia Capital where he was responsible for business strategy and investment and merchant banking activities. He started his career at JPMorgan, where he held structuring and marketing positions on several derivatives desks, including emerging market derivatives and credit derivatives. He went on to lead derivatives businesses at large investment banks including Bank of America and UBS.

Sean has been a founder or board advisor to several early stage companies in fields such as asset management, private equity, enterprise software, and fintech. Sean holds a BS from Seton Hall University, and is a Certificate holder in Derivatives Pricing and Risk Management from Oxford University.


Kamil Mehmood

Kamil is a serial entrepreneur and has founded and exited a number of businesses in the technology natural resource, and financial services verticals during his career. He has extensive experience in business development in South East Asia, the Middle East, and the Middle Asia markets. During the early part of his career he helped publicly listed Australia companies to gain access to the Asian markets using local resources and development strategies. He also successfully ran a development outsourcing company in Australia helping Australian companies gain access to affordable development resources in Asia. 


Sir George Zambellas

George is the former Chief of the U.K. Royal Navy, responsible through a £6Bn per year operating budget for delivering global capability in nuclear forces, submarines, naval aviation, carriers, warships and marines. An engineer and technologist at heart, George’s military technical legacy was the leadership and delivery of Exercise Unmanned Warrior 2016, the largest unmanned military exercise in history, designed to force and exploit data sharing across a wide selection of autonomous platforms. George then set up Exercise Information Warrior 2017, to develop data exploitation and AI in warfare, and has written and lectured on AI in military operations. 

Now a senior advisor to a Californian maritime robotics company, and founder of a U.K. cyber security start-up, George is committed to improving the understanding and utility of AI in society and business. He leads Agorai in U.K., with a team that is designing and developing an ecosystem that makes AI understandable, accessible, affordable and profitable.


Sultan Abu Sultan

Sultan Abu Sultan serves as Middle East lead at Agorai, overseeing the company’s operations and business development across the region. Sultan has a superior track record of business growth and advancing innovative technologies in the Middle East. Prior to joining Agorai, he served as Chairman for Barclays Bank PLC, UAE, where he acted as the primary link between the bank and all government institutions across the UAE, helping to grow its footprint and strengthen its relationships throughout the region. He began his career at HSBC, holding several positions and eventually serving as Managing Director for the UAE. He has served as head of IT for the Dubai Police Force, where he developed the organization’s Quality Department to enhance the structure and management of its technology systems. He was also co-founder of W Motors, the company behind the first Middle East supercar, the Lykan.


John Edge

John is a Connection Science Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focused on the value potential of decentralized data networks. He is serving as an executive and board advisor to multiple high growth technology companies.

John is the co-founder and Chairman of ID2020, a global public-private alliance, bringing decentralized technologies to solve digital identity challenges. He is also the chairman emeritus of the Whitechapel Think Tank, a Public-Private forum for the UK Government, Bank of England, Financial Conduct Authority and industry to explore the potential for Distributed Ledger Technologies. John is also the co-founder and Executive Chairman of DISC Holdings, a platform for financial inclusion.

Prior to this focus on decentralized systems, John was a FinTech entrepreneur having founded Red Kite Financial Markets, a data analytics company providing regulatory compliance solutions to Capital Markets. Before that, John led electronic trading innovation at the capital markets groups of investment banks including J.P. Morgan, Lehman Brothers, and UBS.


Dr. George Zarkadakis

George is a thought-leader in Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the future of organizations and work. He has over 25 years' experience in technology innovation, business management and development; and has held leadership positions in several organizations including Accenture, Silicon Graphics and Willis Towers Watson. He is the author of the book "In Our Own Image: the history and future of Artificial Intelligence". He is currently writing a new book for MIT Press on how human collaboration in business and politics will be transformed by machine intelligence, quantum computing and blockchain.

George holds a PHD in artificial intelligence and was a research fellow at Imperial College, London. He is a frequent public speaker and blogger on Artificial Intelligence. He has been awarded a French knighthood for his international work in science communication and the public engagement with science and technology.


Dr. Catherine Havasi

Catherine is passionate about helping companies get business value from artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. She’s a visiting scientist at MIT. Dr. Havasi is best known for her work alongside Dr. Marvin Minsky at MIT to create the Open Mind Common Sense Project, now known as ConceptNet, which is one of the largest common sense knowledge bases in the world. She has also served as the director of the Digital Intuition Group at the MIT Media Lab.

Dr. Havasi has co-founded and led multiple AI-focused entities, including Luminoso Technologies, where she served as CEO for seven years. Catherine is also a speaker and thought leader in artificial intelligence. In recent years, she has been named by Fast Company as one of the ‘100 Most Creative People in Business’ as well as one of Boston Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40.” She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Brandeis University and a MEng in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from MIT


Hans Godfrey

Hans has over 20 years of consulting and business experience, and prior to joining Agorai, most recently led delivery of Marcel, Publicis Groupe's artificial intelligence platform designed to enable seamless access to company knowledge and expertise.  Prior to this role, Hans founded the Washington, DC office of Publicis.Sapient serving as its general manager, as well as led capital markets consulting in the eastern US.  In both of these roles, he was responsible for sales, delivery, and operations of client business, as well as managing hundreds of consultants. Hans was one of the original creators of Sapient’s workshop methodology which was instrumental to launching the company.

Hans was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, completed undergraduate studies at MIT, and holds PMP, PMI-ACP, and CSM certifications.


Toby McNeill

Toby is a senior leader who has over 20 years experience in Financial Services with a focus on structured derivatives and other complex products. He is an active investor in early stage artificial intelligence companies.Toby worked with sovereign funds, hedge funds, corporates and other clients to achieve their goals. His areas of expertise include IPOs, corporate restructuring, raising capital, M&A and hedging activities. He recently managed the Equity Derivative business for a Tier 1 Investment Bank in Japan with a focus on working with Japanese corporates, regional banks and Asian sovereign funds.


Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise technology industry as an entrepreneur, consultant, and leader of product and services organizations. He has been an early contributor to several successful startups, and has worked across functional and geographic boundaries of larger firms to maximize value for clients. For the past five years, Mike has been advising clients on innovation, product management, and business strategy.  Previously, he served as COO and Head of Product for MissionMode, where he built and ran a multi-tiered global communications platform from the ground up to facilitate enterprise collaboration and crisis management.

Earlier in his career, Mike drove product innovation and delivery at firms like PLATINUM technology, BroadVision and IBM. Mike holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT, plus a minor in Music. He volunteers for organizations promoting the arts, entrepreneurship and STEM education, advises a number of technology startups, and is a mentor and board member for regional accelerator programs.


Audra Tiner

Audra is CEO at Articulate Communications and has spent almost 15 years working with clients in the financial services and technology sectors. She has managed countless acquisitions, company launches and re-brands on behalf of clients and as her clients say, she “gets it.” Audra also loves developing and mentoring the Articulate team and seeing them succeed. Audra developed her expertise earlier in her career with roles at SeeBeyond (now Oracle), Progress Software and Cambridge Technology Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Brandeis University. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors at LSA Family Health Service in New York, NY.
